INTRODUCTION:

The quality of the signals, obtained by sonic integrity testing of piles has been improved considerably with the introduction of digital signal processing. This allows the introduction of a new approach towards quantitative interpretation of these signals. An interpretation technique which is based on the stress wave analysis program TNOWAVE will be described and illustrated with several cases.
