INTRODUCTION:

The first Rapid Load Tests in Spain were conducted in 2017 in the port of Barcelona. This modern method, standardized worldwide, is a step forward for load testing on piles, which means that the capacity of the foundations can be checked safely, quickly and reliably. However, the application of the method in Spain is still relatively unknown.
