INTRODUCTION:

In this (dutch) article a description is given of the way how a wooden pile foundation was completed with concrete piles at a renovation in Zaandam the Netherlands.
Because this was mainly the foundation, a solution was found in which about fifty percent of the houses still could be inhabited.
An account is also given of the relatively easy to install new piles and the starting points that have been taken into account for the construction.
