Allnamics Academy Training Program
Allnamics Academy Training Program
Allnamics has been training engineers in pile testing, driveability studies, pile monitoring and other foundation-related topics for decades.
Originally, the trainees of the Allnamics Academy were new users of Allnamics Equipment. However, there is a need for more knowledge exchange among non-testing engineers. They are not performing the tests but need basic knowledge about the testing methods. For structural engineers who want to know about the possibility and reliability of the several testing methods, for governmental organisations who have to control reports from integrity testing, and for clients. Therefore, Allnamics organises many training courses; see the overview below.
Allnamics Academy Training Courses
Integrity Testing
- Sonic Integrity Testing (low strain impact testing) for testing engineers (basic and advanced levels, refreshing course)
- Understanding Sonic Integrity Test results for others than testing engineers, i.e. structural and geotechnical engineers, controlling institutes, supervisors, second opinions and legal
- AllWave-SIT quantitative interpretation method and profiling
Dynamic Load Testing
- Dynamic Load Testing and Pile Driving Analysis (high strain dynamic testing) for testing engineers (basic and advanced levels, refreshing course)
- Understanding Dynamic Load Test results for others than testing engineers, i.e. structural and geotechnical engineers, controlling institutes, supervisors, second opinions and legal
- AllWave-DLT software for Signal Matching
Pile Driving Analyses
- Pile Driving Monitoring and Analysis during pile installation utilizing an impact hammer. To control hammer performance, pile stresses, and soil resistance and for troubleshooting, both onshore and offshore (basic and advanced levels, refreshing course)
Vibratory Driving Analyses
- Pile Driving Monitoring (VDM) and Analysis (VDA) during pile installation using a vibratory hammer. To control hammer performance, pile stresses, and soil resistance and for troubleshooting, both onshore and offshore (basic and advanced levels, refreshing course)
Static Load Testing
- Static Load Testing for testing engineers (basic and advanced levels, refreshing course) for axial tests, both in compression and tension, as well as lateral tests
- Understanding Static Load Test results for others than testing engineers, i.e. structural and geotechnical engineers, controlling institutes, supervisors, second opinions and legal
Rapid Load Testing
- Rapid Load Testing for testing engineers (basic and advanced levels, refreshing course)
- Understanding Rapid Load Test results for others than testing engineers, i.e. structural and geotechnical engineers, controlling institutes, supervisors, second opinions and legal
Driveability Studies
- AllWave-PDP Training in performing driveability studies for installing piles by impact hammers, both on- and offshore (basic and advanced level)
- AllWave-VDP Training in performing driveability studies for installing piles by impact hammers, both on- and offshore (basic and advanced level)
Vibration Monitoring
- Training in theory and the practice of performing vibration monitoring, i.e. vibrations due to building activities like installing piles by impact and vibratory hammers (basic and advanced level)
StatRapid is one of the methods of Rapid Load Testing
Certification and exams
A Personal User Certificate will be submitted for those who followed the training course and passed the tests. These certificates show that the person who followed the training and passed the tests has reached the required level in performing their tasks. Both in theory and practical application.
General training
Next to training (potential) users of the Allnamics equipment and software for pile testing and driveability studies, general training is organised for those involved but not performing the tests themselves. This can be managers, clients, supervisors, governmental inspectors, structural or geotechnical engineers who lack the knowledge about the (un)possibilities of several testing methods, giving a second opinion, etc.
Allnamics User training
For the users of Allnamics equipment and software, training courses are organised at three levels:
- Starting level. For (nearly) beginners
- Advanced level, training at higher levels up to expert levels
- Refreshing courses and workshops
Special training
For special occasions, special training and lectures can be organised. i.e. for in-company training, bigger groups, or for educational purposes, universities, etc. Ask the Allnamics Academy team about the possibilities.
The team of lecturers
The team of lecturers has major experience in pile testing as didactic experience in exchanging knowledge seriously and pleasantly. One of our trainers, Peter Middendorp, has over 50 years of experience, as he is the founder of both low strain impact testing, Sonic Integrity Testing, and the Dynamic Load Test (DLT/PDA). See his presentation at the Stress Wave Conference of 2022 here.
The common language for training is either English or Spanish (and Dutch…). Training can also be given on location or online.
