Allnamics SPT-Bar measures the energy transferred through an instrumented SPT rod during a Standard Penetration Test (SPT).
With this device, measured N-values can be adjusted to normalized N60 for standard 60% energy transfer into the rods. System and measurements are in accordance with ASTM D4633.
Because of the wide variation in hammers and rigs for performing SPT soil investigation, the Allnamics SPT-Bar standardizes the measurements of SPT tests. Standardization leads to increase of the reliability of the SPT tests and the application of the SPT test results.
