JOB OFFER PILE TESTING EXPERT

As a Pile Testing Expert engineer, you will work on our clients’ pile testing and geotechnical requests worldwide. You use your geotechnical knowledge and experience to support the clients with their pile installation and testing challenges. How can pile testing contribute to a better, more cost-effective, reliable, and decarbonised foundation design?  You will translate the client’s challenges to a testing protocol, take care of performing the pile tests, and supply the client with the answers and support needed.

Internal training and gaining experience in this job will bring you from an engineer to a Pile Testing Expert.

Tasks

• Providing expert advice on geotechnical engineering aspects of foundation installation
• Translating foundation challenges to pile testing protocols
• Advising on installation procedures and pile testing protocols
• Performing pile tests, Static, Rapid and Dynamic pile tests on onshore and offshore projects
• Reporting and presenting results to clients and engaging in technical discussions and meetings
• Advising on pile testing procedures and protocols
• Performing driveability analyses, including analysing and characterising the geotechnical data (factual reports, CPT data, borehole loggings, geotechnical lab results, etc.), modelling local soil conditions, selecting appropriate hammers, and performing driveability simulations for impact and vibratory hammers
• Participating in R&D activities, contributing specialist geotechnical knowledge to the further development of the Allnamics PDR monitoring equipment and AllWave software package
• Postdictions and analysing monitoring results and driving logs after installation
• Performing PDA & DLT monitoring projects
• Experience with driveability software or willing to learn
• Proficiency in technical reporting
• Collaborating closely with the sales team, R&D team, and clients’ geotechnical experts
